Questions & answers
Everything you might be wondering
Still curious after this? Call or text us at 1 (888) 514-WAGS — we love talking pets.
Are your groomers insured and trained?
Yes. Every Furry Friends groomer is certified, background-checked, and fully insured and bonded. We bring professional salon training and years of hands-on experience to your driveway — your pet is in safe, caring hands.
What breeds and sizes do you groom?
All of them. From toy breeds to giant doubled-coated dogs, and from short-haired cats to long-haired Persians, our groomers are trained across coat types and temperaments. Dogs are priced by weight (five tiers from under 15 lbs to 91+ lbs); cats by package.
Can you groom pets with special needs or anxiety?
Often, yes — and mobile is frequently the gentlest option. With no other animals, no cages, and no car ride, anxious, senior, and special-needs pets tend to settle more easily. We go at your pet’s pace and build in breaks. For pets with serious medical conditions, we’ll always talk it through with you first.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as popular digital payments. You pay after the groom is finished and you’re happy with the result — backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
How does your pricing work?
It’s transparent and upfront. Dogs are priced by size, cats by package, with a lower maintenance rate for pets on a regular 4–6 week schedule and a one-time rate for single visits. Every groom includes the essentials — de-matting, nails, ears and more — with no travel fees and no surprise charges.
How often should my pet be groomed?
Most dogs and cats do best on a 4–6 week schedule, though it depends on breed and coat. Regular grooming prevents matting, reduces shedding, and keeps skin healthy — and it earns our lower maintenance pricing. There’s no contract, so you can adjust anytime.
Can I request the same groomer each time?
We do our best to keep you with a groomer your pet knows and trusts. Familiarity makes every visit calmer, and continuity is a big part of the Furry Friends experience.
How long does an appointment take?
A full groom typically takes 60–90 minutes depending on size, coat and temperament, while a dental treatment runs about 15–40 minutes. Because it’s one-on-one, there’s no all-day wait — your pet is groomed and relaxing at home in a single visit.
What’s your flea and tick policy?
Your pet’s health (and our van) comes first. If we find fleas or ticks, we’ll let you know and can provide a Flea & Tick treatment as an add-on ($25) to safely address it. For heavy infestations we may recommend looping in your vet so we can groom safely.
